    parking issues

Historic building, unique dining environment, charming local experience

The lack of on-site parking can be quite inconvenient!!! Noise from the busy street made for a rather disruptive night's sleep. the staircases leading to rooms feel worn and pose some challenges!!!

We enjoyed the charming atmosphere and unique furnishings. The shower had perfect water pressure, a rare find! Not to mention the interesting decor throughout the corridors.

    fantastic porridge

It was just an ideal choice for a fleeting trip in Salisbury with excellent value for money. The porridge at breakfast was fantastic and really memorable. Be mindful of the uneven floors due to the building's age.

    thoughtful gesture
    comfortable stay

It was just a decent option for a fleeting trip in Salisbury with great value. I was impressed by the thoughtful gesture of the staff who ensured to send back my daughter's stuffed animal after we left it behind. If you're planning a stay, request a room away from the street for a quieter experience.

    charming décor

    comfortable navigation
    lack of lift
    accessibility issue

The Chapter House features charming historic décor with original wood paneling, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The wide stairs, though quirky, made it easy for me to navigate with my luggage, ensuring comfort during my stay.

A lift would enhance accessibility for seniors.

    great breakfast
    noise issues
    wifi access

The food was good, and the staff were nice. I enjoyed the breakfast. The atmosphere during the meal at dinner was pleasant, and they were quick to help when we arrived with a large group. It was a memorable stay for my family.

I faced some noise issues from the old building in the night. I found the wifi information was not in the room, and I had to ask at reception.

    great location

    will certainly stay here again

The executive double room had a huge comfy bed. A flat-screen TV and walk-in shower. The electric kettle was a nice touch. The restaurant had great fish and chips, and breakfast was made to order with substantial options. The location is amazing, right by the Cathedral.

Beautiful old building with a unique atmosphere, our small double room was charming and cozy. The highlight was an incredible steak dinner at the restaurant, showcasing exceptional taste. The staff were friendly and attentive, further enhancing the experience. The only drawback was the lack of air conditioning, which might be uncomfortable during warm weather.

Unique architecture with historic charm, showcasing intriguing steps of varying sizes that remind you of its age. Nicely furnished rooms with thoughtful touches like motion-sensor lighting enhance the experience.

Cramped bathroom facilities may not suit everyone’s comfort level, with limited space to maneuver. Overly soft pillows can be a matter of taste. some might prefer firmer options. The evening noise from a nearby road might disturb lighter sleepers, especially during warm nights when windows need to stay open.

    delicious breakfast

    Perfect for a cozy escape

The Small Double Room was simply exceptional, so comfy that I felt like I was on cloud nine every night. The breakfast? Unbelievably good, like it was crafted just for my taste buds.

It wasn’t cheap but still reasonable for the experience.
